Poppies in Bloom on Purple Fabric and Wallpaper

This poppy design in a beautiful combination of red, purple and green is based on a hand printed linocut. It would look fantastic as accent cushion or tablecloth in your dining room.  The linocuts behind this design were printed up here in Scotland, on my heritage proofiing press by hand.

The deep, rich colours and its hand crafted basis reflect the principles of the 19th Century Arts and Crafts movement. Those artists incorporated many botanical themes into their work, a source of inspiration for me.
